Wondering through the landscape’s immensity, the presence of two walls breaks the path. I go towards them through a dark shadow that leads me to an opaque dimension, the nothing, the deepest part of the earth.
A dim light in the background takes me through a narrow, uncomfortable gap that walks me to a celestial space. Unexpectedly everything is vertical, startling and breathtaking. The high ceiling makes me raise my head first and feel like shrinking later, thrashed by the light sneaking into the gaps of this huge stone walls that loom over me.
I sit down and allow myself to get in touch with the convulsive spirit of that place as never before, forcing me to travel within my own body, inside myself, to my soul. I face my fears and doubts. This is a space of introspection. A side opening invites me outside, a path that goes through the earth again takes me to the vastness. It is about a path towards healing and illumination.
A bite on the cliff configures a large semi-covered porch that offers wide views of the infinite ocean. The first thing you notice is a great air breath; afterwards you feel peace, stillness and order. A place to reborn. The rough jasper stone of the wall that invited me to enter the mausoleum is now polished, soft and has the form of a bench.
The gradual process of polishing the stone has accompanied me in my spiritual process. This is a tribute to the place I am. From beginning to end, a path of great emotional elasticity and renewal, where light is in contrast with darkness, and immensity with the narrowness.
